This project began in 2016 and went on for two. It began with Lauren and a bunch of her friends. She met one of those friends at a Behemoth concert and bonded over the fake blood being spat on them by Nergal, Behemoth's singer.

While you will normally find corpse-painted, sullen dudes frolicking through cold Norwegian forests in the world of Black Metal photography. I thought we could use more women who were also fans of Carl's Jr. As an homage to the true spirit of the genre, I've shot a good portion of this project using expired film and polaroid, shooting several formats and trying to keep things lofi. There was so much more than what remains here today, but again, even that feels Black metal as Fuck.
