For this leg of the trip we headed to the temples. Angkor Wat is  the main temple in a series of temples that stretches for many, many miles. The few that are famous are teaming with tourists. My favorite of the more popular temples was Bayon, it's the one with the stone faces. On my next trip back, i'm hoping to go see some of the more remote temples. All in all, we hiked 5 temples in that unforgiving Cambodian heat before heading toward the water.

We also took to the air. To be honest, the idea of booking a chopper was better than the actual ride. Only, because we only got a short tour of Angkor from the sky for a lot of cash. That said, it was still pretty amazing up in the clouds.
