/ About the project

This was fun. It was an interactive experience and film created for the Dr. Pepper energy drink, Venom. The site existed as an overlay that would sit on top of various "normal" sites, such as google search, twitter and youtube. The campaign idea was simple.

Venom was fuel for people who like to do bad things.

So when you would search for something on google, using our site, we would add a few terrible keywords and bring up the absolute worst results. We also pushed a dynamic brand video that was built entirely using content we deemed "bad", so that every iteration was a slightly different, terrible film. It was really ahead of its time. When we presented this to Dr. Pepper, we got a standing ovation. Not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, however, it was ultimately scrapped for being too good of a bad thing. Go figure.

Footage provided by an internet full of people who really, truly like to do bad things. Now imagine what that would look like today. And then sprinkle in some AI content.
